Leica-T-701-image-front

Leica T type 701 Full Details Leaked accidentally by Leica, the website appread for few seconds and few spartan captured all things before the website was vanished…

Leica-T-701-image-back

The details

“A large APS-C sensor with 16.5 megapixels ensures colour fidelity, the finest details and pictures with exceptional brightness and clarity, even in unfavourable lighting conditions. And even on large-format screens. And for pin-sharp videos in full HD resolution. Top performance at the press of a button. Fast, precise and almost silent autofocus. Exactly like the newly developed image processor, which instantaneously displays the results on the big touchscreen display.

The integrated Wi-Fi module lets you transfer pictures directly from your Leica T to a smartphone, tablet PCs or computer. With the ease of wireless communication. You can also share your pictures quickly and easily on social media or by email with the Leica T app for iOS or the Browser Gallery on Android devices. Particularly practical: With the remote function of the Leica T app, you can, for example, use your smartphone or tablet PC as an electronic viewfinder and shoot with your Leica T by remote control.”

The art of engineering and craftsmanship. Individual and exclusive. Values that have been inextricably associated with the Leica name for more than 100 years.

Values that are united in the new T-System – and are experienced in every detail. From the very beginning, the guiding principle behind the design, the use and the handling of the Leica T-System was the creation of sheer joy. The joy of photography. With its unique design and lenses that are unrivalled in its segment. Crafted and assembled by hand. A new step forwards for Leica photography. And never before has it felt so good.

Love at first touch, happy forever. The new Leica T

Built according to the traditions of the art of engineering. The Leica T-System is the world’s first camera with a body made completely of aluminium. Machined from a single block of solid metal and polished by hand for 45 minutes. The outcome: the innovative and groundbreaking unibody – unique in both look and feel.

Less is more. More joy. The new Leica T

Absolute perfection is only achieved when nothing more can be omitted. We and our partner, Audi Design, systematically followed this strict policy to develop the Leica T. Form follows function. What’s more, it supports it too. To achieve this, we subtracted the superfluous and reduced what remained to the essentials.

Never before has taking a Leica picture been so easy. The new Leica T

A large touchscreen. Four haptic control elements. A logically designed, intuitive und ergonomic handling concept. The Leica T needs nothing else. Never before has it been so easy to understand a camera. And to use it. Created to let you concentrate on your pictures. To maximise the joy of photography. To get the perfect picture.

Fullfills the Highest Expectations

In the development of the new Leica-T system, we let ourselves be guided by values that have been strongly associated with the Leica name for more than 100 years. Dedication to innovation. Passion for technology. Love of design. Nevertheless, our steps took us down entirely new roads. We reduced everything to the essentials and never lost sight of our clearly defined objective: to create a camera that places the sheer joy of photography back in your hands.

More accessories. More options

The T-System offers dedicated photographers technical accessories to intensify the sheer joy of photography. Expand your creative horizons! The original accessories follow the same principles as the Leica T – a reduction to the essentials. We have subtracted the superfluous to concentrate on what’s essential. The perfect picture. And the sheer joy it brings.

The Leica T-System follows its own unique principle of reduction to the essence – and complete dedication to the joy of photography.

A clear and precise focus is essential to the nature of photography. Denial is not a suitable beginning, but fusion certainly is. A fusion of style, true craftsmanship and simple handling – a symbiosis of the best. Discover the whole story – and how Leica and the Leica T break entirely new ground in the world of photography. In this film, the story is told in the very personal words of Dr Kaufmann, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG. The New Leica T-System.

Less is more. More joy of photography.

The system is totally convincing. In its reduction to the essentials. Both in its design and its inner technologies. It has everything it needs and nothing more. Minimised, yet so perfect. Never before has taking pictures been this easy. And never before has it felt so good. Find inspiration in the pictures and look forward to seeing many more.

Press Release:

Mountain View, Calif. – (April 22, 2014) – Lytro, Inc. revealed today its powerful vision for the future of photography with the unveiling of LYTRO ILLUM, a light field camera and software platform designed to redefine the way we portray the world around us. Built to harness the full power of the light field, the professional-grade LYTRO ILLUM will give photographers a new medium capable of capturing visual experiences in their purest form — not as a static cross-section of reality but an authentic, interactive window into their world.

The camera paves the way for an immersive brand of storytelling in which images can be brought to life in multiple dimensions through Light Field Photography — a transformative new category that empowers artistic creation and expression beyond what is possible in the 2D world of digital and film. In capturing the color, intensity and direction of every light ray flowing into the camera, LYTRO ILLUM provides a massive amount of visual information that allows photographers to recreate sights and scenes on a truly experiential canvas.

“With LYTRO ILLUM, creative pioneers — ranging from artistic amateurs to experienced professionals — will tap into a new wave of graphical storytelling. Now artist and audience alike can share an equally intimate connection with the imagery, and, in a sense, jointly participate in the magic of its creation,” said Lytro CEO Jason Rosenthal. “By combining a novel hardware array with tremendous computational horsepower, this camera opens up unprecedented possibilities to push the boundaries of creativity beyond the limits inherent in digital or film photography.”

To enable such rich, layered compositions, LYTRO ILLUM delivers unparalleled optical versatility by merging custom-built hardware with a powerful software platform. The camera offers a 40-megaray light field sensor, 8x optical zoom range, constant f/2.0 aperture and a high-speed shutter capable of freezing motion under a wide variety of conditions. After image capture, the innovative software platform empowers photographers to adjust aspects of images that were previously fixed, such as focus, tilt, perspective shift and depth of field, which allows the photographer to create images that will resonate for the viewer not just in one dimension, but in every dimension.

“My photography style pushes me to look for ways to tell a more compelling story with every image. LYTRO ILLUM gave me that ability by incorporating an interactive element that captures different visual touch points at every depth,” said Kyle Thompson, a Chicago-based photographer known for his surreal conceptual style and

one of the early users of the camera. “With LYTRO ILLUM, I’ve been able to make a multi-dimensional image with more perspectives to explore.”

LYTRO ILLUM’s totally unique photographic experience reflects the technological revolution around virtual reality and 3D graphics as powerful new storytelling formats in the Digital Age. In the hands of creative pioneers, the camera is a catalyst for a transformational shift in which the world will increasingly look for opportunities to craft a more immersive artistic experience.

“Light Field Photography is following the classic pattern for a transformational concept,” said Lytro founder Dr. Ren Ng. “The original Lytro camera, which launched in 2012, introduced an entirely new era in photography. LYTRO ILLUM will advance this movement to a new level. We are very excited by the potential of this camera to ignite a photography revolution on the magnitude of the transformation from film to digital.”

In addition to enabling post-capture image adjustments, LYTRO ILLUM’s proprietary software platform enables users to view images in 3D, build custom animations, export images into common formats like JPEG and share to the Web or mobile devices. LYTRO ILLUM’s workflow is also compatible with existing photo-editing suites like Adobe’s Photoshop and Lightroom software and Apple’s Aperture software, allowing creative pioneers to use the tools they already know and love.
