Fujifilm XQ1 First Leaked Image surfaced over the web the camera features same sensor as Fuji X20, take a quick look at the XQ1 rumored specification.
Fuji XQ1 Rumored Specification
Same sensor as X20 – 12MP 2/3″ X-Trans CMOS II Sensor
Aperture Range – F1.8-4.9
Optical Zoom – 4X Optical Zoom
0.06 sec AF
I was hoping for a Bigger sensor (1 inch) in XQ1, but now I don’t think a X20 – 12MP 2/3″ Sensor will give any competition to Sony RX100 M2, but based on core specification it look better than Canon G16 and Nikon P7800.
A quick reminder that Fuji X-E2 is also coming on Oct 18, 2013 with XQ1. The X-E2 will feature a 16MP APS-C sensor (possibly new), EXR II sensor, Lens modulation optimizer and 0.08 sec Autofocus speed.

Fujifilm X-E2 Image and upcoming XQ1 Specification floating over the web today, the XE-1 image look similar to XE-2, logo is twisted and turned into X-E2. But as you also know that Fuji have small history of repeating designs, since X-M1 and X-A1 design are copy of each other only the logo are different.

Form Japanese sources we have confirmed news that Fuji is holding X-lovers festival on Oct 18 and also ready to announce new X-series products on Oct 18 2013, the upcoming two camera name is X-E2 and X-Q1, the X-E2 is a successor of X-E1 mirrorless camera and X-Q1 is a X series compact camera that will feature 2/3 X-Trans sensor .

Thanks for the readers for sending the info, According to public Indonesian agency postal database Sony will soon announce three new camera, one of them is ILCE-5000 and other two names are beyond my recognition – “WW328261” and “WW328262“. could be the two new NEX-FF models code name? may be true… but don’t have any full details yet.
Just few days ago we have told you that Fuji X-E1 Successor Fuji X-E2 is coming, today we got confirmation that X-E2 is coming but there is also a XQ1 model in the list, the XQ1 is a compact camera of X series and we will probably see a new sensor inside the XQ1 model.
