BCN has just published the list of best selling mirrorless and DSLR cameras in Japan for 2012, according to the list the most popular mirrorless camera in Japan is Nikon J1 and the most popluar DSLR in Japan is Canon 650D / T4i.

Nikon J1 claims to have approx 11.2% percent market share while the 2nd in the list is Olympus E-PL3 with 8.6% of market share and 3rd is NEX 5N with 7.7 % of market share.

Canon 650D / T3i / Kiss X5 have a total of 22.3 % of market share and the Most Popluar Full-Frame camera in Japan for 2012 is 5D Mark II with 2.1% of market share and 2nd best selling full-frame camera is 5D Mark II with 1.8% and Nikon D800 comes at third place with 1.6% of total market share.

Canon EOS 6D Youtube Problem and Solution

In summary if you upload your Canon EOS 6D videos directly to youtube the videos will not play, but Canon Japan soon issued a FIX (to upload your videos to youtube) associated with 6D Product Advisory:

  1. Download 6D video files on your computer.
  2. Start ImageBrowser EX.
  3. Select the video you want to upload, and click “Edit Video” from the “Edit” tab at the top of the screen of EX prgram.
  4. “MoiveEdit Task” will start, click the “Save” button.
  5. Upload to youtube

While we continue to investigate this phenomenon, please follow the instructions outlined below to upload Canon EOS 6D movie files to YouTube. After our investigation is complete, we will make an update to this announcement.

1. Download the movie file(s) from the EOS 6D camera to your computer.

2. Start ImageBrowser EX, an application bundled with the EOS 6D.

3. After selecting the movie file(s) to be uploaded, select [Edit Movies] in the [Edit] tab from the menu bar of ImageBrowser EX.

4. “MovieEdit Task” will start. Save the movie using the [Save] menu on the screen.

5. Upload the saved movie to YouTube.

Nikon DSLRs Coming in 2013

Nikon D8000New rumors wave are coming about Nikon Upcoming DSLRs, Take a look at possible scenarios

Nikon D8000 – Expected to arrive at Q1 of 2013
Nikon may merge its D7000 and D300s together and only one high end DX format camera may arrive at 2013. The Nikon D8000 may have same 24 Mp APS-C Sensor with a super fast continuous speed of 8 to 10 fps and Rugged body to survive in all condition.

Nikon D600 is already announced as entry level full frame camera and D3200 and D5200 is enough to cover the entry line-up.


Nikon D4x – Expected to arrive at Q3 of 2013

Nikon D4x may arrive with a 36Mp+ (probably 52 Mp) Sensor and continuous speed of 4 fps, direct competitor of Upcoming Canon Megapixel monster (3DX).
