According to latest rumors Canon 7D Mark II will have a Hybrid Viewfinder, the camera will have a brand new sensor with under 25 Megapixel resolution and will have superior performance than any of the present APS-C Canon models in terms of low-light sensitivity and Auto Focus speed.
The Canon 7D Mark II will have many new options / features on software level, the camera software features are matchless compared to its current line-up of competitors.
The camera will have a dual memory card slots, one slot is reserved for CF card and other one is for SD.

According to latest rumors Canon may announce 7D mark II in Q2 (April / May / June) of 2014, earlier it was said that it may arrive in Q3 / possibly in Photokina 2014.
Absence of competitors: There is actually no pressure in front of Canon to release a Canon 7D Mark II model yet due to absence of Nikon D400 model, the mid-range Canon 70D with PDAF sensor is giving strong competition to Nikon D7200.

According to latest rumors Canon may announce its APS-C flagship camera on March 2014 with three Pixma Pro printers, however the information is not coming from a confirmed source so take it as a grain of salt.

According to latest rumors Canon may also announce a new professional DSLR (EOS A1?) camera along with Nikon D4s, according to sources the camera is coming in March 2014.
According to a different rumor source (coming from chinese forum xite), Canon May announce a 4K capable high-end professional DSLR camera in April 2014.

According to EOSHD website during a media presentation (organized by Panasonic), the presenters mentions a “Canon 7D successor” in a slide along with following specification mentioned below,
