- The company is working on a couple of major updates for the ZR (not just one).
- Key improvements confirmed include:
- New Log 3G10 profile paired with H.265
- Significant improvements to the existing H.265 codec (addressing widespread user complaints)
- Focus peaking in red while using N-Log and RED NE
- “And so much more.”
Additional possibilities mentioned include ProRes 422 LT and potentially RED NE LT versions, depending on processing capability.
