Sony recently registered a new camera with the model code “WW734234”. We are expecting its Sony A7 IV camera. The Registered “WW734234” camera uses 5.1 Ghz WiFi Module which is begin used by Sony Fullframe Professional camera.
Sony’s “WW734234” has been registered with an overseas certification body. Equipped with Wi-Fi (5GHz / 2.4GHz) and Bluetooth. The ILCE-7RM4A announced the other day is “WW447485” and “WW778752”, and the ILCE-7RM3A is “WW186333”, so the unannounced “WW356015” (Wi-Fi [2.4GHz] / Bluetooth) and 2 models have been registered this time.
We will post an update soon as we get any leaked images and specifications of the upcoming camera.

Sony recently registered a new camera at a wireless certification agency. The Model Code of the camera is WW356015. So, now we have a total of 5 New cameras in the announcement pipeline from Sony. Take a look at the list of Sony to be announced cameras.
1. Sony Upcoming Camera Models list
- “WW447485” with 5GHz Wi-Fi (Higher End camera)
- “WW728473” 5GHz Wi-Fi (Higher End camera)
- “WW356015” 2.4GHz (RX series or APS-C Mirrorless)
- “WW186333” 2.4GHz (RX series or APS-C Mirrorless)
- “WW111327” 2.4GHz (RX series or APS-C Mirrorless)
In general, when Sony registers a camera, they take less than 3 months of time to announce the product officially. Rest depends on the Sony Marketing team when they want to announce the product.
For example, the Sony A7s III announcement was intentionally delayed by the marketing team due to the absence of proper market competitors in that category.
2. Sony A7 IV and Sony RX100 VIII announcement is overdue
Sony does, incremental updates when they feel they have very limited competition. That’s why the Sony A7 IV camera RX100 series updated was delayed and the same in the case of the RX10 and RX1 series. This year we will have the announcement of the Sony A7IV and RX100 VIII camera, but again with limited updates in the core specs.
3. A Major Update to the Sony APS-C Mirrorless line-up coming
As per the latest rumors we have, we will see a Major core specs update in the Sony APS-C Mirrorless camera line-up. A week ago, a rumor surfaced over the web related to the upcoming Sony A7400 / Sony A6400 II camera with a built-in IBIS unit and 4:2:0 10bit internal recording. But, the rumor looks not so credible to us, so we haven’t decided to publish that 😉

On Sep 29, 2020, we have told you that the Sony A7 IV camera may arrive with a brand new 30MP FF sensor (IMX 554 DQC). Now multiple websites are posting the same information, that really adds more confimration to our previous published post
Sony A7 IV Rumored Specifications
- A74 will have a new sensor with faster readout and will not recycle the 24 MP one. My source told me it will be in the 30-32 MP region
- The EVF will have 3,69 Mdots and not 5,76 Mdots
- Most probably the LCD will also be on the cheap side but the image quality and AF will be top notch
- The video will certainly be 4K 60p and will feature the new menus.
- The price will be in the $2499 region
The specs looks somehow similar to the specs we have published more than a month ago.

Sony A7 IV rumored specification surfaced over rumor mills. Take a look at the rumored spec below
Sony A7 IV Recent Rumored Specification
- 24MP sensor (there is a version with 30MP sensor but I think 24MP is the safe bet for now).

- 5.76m-dot (same as A7rIV but not as good as the A7sIII)
- same A7sIII autofocus system
- dual SD slot (it won’t need the new Express mini cards)
- fully articulating selfie screen
- new Sony A7sIII menu system
- in general all expected layout and ergonomic improvements we got with the A7sIII

Sony registered a new camera at the wireless certification agency. This is the second FF sensor-based Camera (The first one is here) registered in the year 2020. From the initial set of details, it looks like a pro-FF Mirrorless camera body and uses 5.1 Ghz Wireless Module for high-speed data transfer.
As usual once the camera gets registered usually it takes two to three months to become official. Apart from the Sony A7S3 camera rumors we are also getting hints related to the development of Sony A7 IV camera and Sony Fullframe Compact Camera Sony RX1R III update is also overdue. We have seen people using the test prototypes of Sony A7IV as well, let’s wait and watch. We will update you soon with more information.
