1. Sensor
If you talk about the sensor only between these two camera then the Fuji X-A5 camera features large APS-C sensor with 24 megapixels resolution, on the other side we have Olympus OMD E-M10 Mark III which features a bit is smaller micro four third forward sensor 16 megapixels resolution.
So, with Fuji X-A5 camera you get larger sensor with more resolution, Fujifilm X-A5 camera also features hybrid autofocus system that is better in some way compared to the M10 Mark III contrast based system.
2. AF System
Yes the Fuji do offer a better auto-focusing system compared to Olympus. But with more AF points the Olympus frame coverage is more compared to Fuji. But at the end we have Fujifilm X A5 camera is built with phase detect autofocusing points inside the sensor, where as the Olympus E-M10 Mark III autofocus in system is limited to contrast detect Technology.
3. Continuous Shooting Speed
If we talk about continuous shooting a speed then theFuji X-A camera buffer is limited to 10 shots only with a speed of 6 frames per second, whereas Olympus E-M10 Mark III camera features a speed of 8.6 frames per second.
4. Video
Fuji X-A5 video mode is limited to 15 frames per second with time limit of 5 minutes, but Olympus doesn’t have such limitations with the Olympus E-M10 Mark III, the camera records 4K videos 30 frames per second for 29 minutes.
5. Image stabilization inside E-M10
The Olympus E-M10 mark III offers 5 axis image stabilization that will help all the time when you needed, even if you are creating serious vlooging videos you don’t have to spend extra cash on gimble.
The image sharing of Fuji X-A5 is bit tedious due to bluetooth only, the camera Olympus E-M10 mark III WiFi does fast image and video sharing.
Verdict
Fuji X-A5 is good for still shooting only whereas the Olympus E-M10 III is highly recommended if you creating high quality video and also a decent camera for still work.
