Nikon Z8 Shipping will begin in May of 2023

According to the latest rumors, the Nikon Z8 camera is expected to arrive in the spring months of 2023. If we talk more specifically about the announcement timeline then the camera is expected to arrive in March / April of 2023 and shipping will begin in May of 2023. The official development announcement is expected in the early months of 2023.

Nikon Z8 – A budget Z9 Camera ?

The initial specs suggest the Nikon Z9 is said to be a budget Z9 camera, take a look at the set of information we have

Same form factor as the Nikon Z6/Z7
Improved EVF
Improved autofocus
Same sensor as the Z9

Nikon Z6 Mark III and Z7 Mark III Announcement Soon

The above is a screenshot of Nikon’s upcoming cameras roadmap leaked by Nikon Rumor Mill. If we believe the above, The Nikon Z6 mark III and Nikon Z7 Mark III announcement should happen in Sep 2022. And the Nikon Z7 mark III will also have the ability to record 8K videos.

At the same time, Twitter handles such as how-to-fly claimed in the past that Nikon Z6 Mark III or Nikon Z7 Mark III camera was coming this year. Only Z8 will arrive.

Z6 Mark III & Z7 Mark III OR Nikon Z8 in Sep 2022?

The rumor mill is only talking about Nikon Z8 camera in the leaked roadmap which is said to arrive in the month of March 2023, but in the same roadmap Z6 Mark III and Z7 Mark III is also mentioned with the announcement date of Sep 2022, but no one is talking about them. Why?

PS: The Nikon Upcoming Camera Roadmap says the Nikon Z5 uses a BSI CMOS sensor, which is false. The Nikon Z5 Camera uses an FSI Sensor. So, from the nature of information we are getting from this isn’t 100% accurate and the lens road-map is old (made before the announcement of the Nikon Z5 camera.)

Nikon Z8 - High Resolution Sample Image Accidentally Leaked by Nikon China [Rumor]

TNC exclusive: According to the latest rumors surfaced over the web. Recently Nikon Chinese Weibo account accidentally uploaded a 67MP High-Resolution image (from Nikon Z8 ?) at its social handle, as far as I know, Nikon Z7 Mark II features 45.7 MP image, and Nikon Z9 also features 45.7 MP image. So, How is it possible that Nikon Photographers upload 67MP pictures on their social handles?

People already started gossiping about the high-resolution image file by sharing the screenshot

From Recent rumors, we are almost confirmed either Nikon Z8 is coming soon, let’s hope for the best.

According to Nikon’s Website photographer, jerry ghionis uses the Z8 Mirrorless camera. The following was picked up by howtofuly with a heading “maybe just a TYPO” And we also strongly believe the same, it is a typo nothing else.

But then why typo was Z8, it could be anything like Z4, Z[numlock], or Z[pagedown]… why Z8 ?

So, this was the fussy update today related to Z8 rumors, we will post more updates soon as we get any.

Nikon Upcoming Cameras 2022

Nikon Z8 or Nikon Z5 Mark II ? Which one will arrive first? Let’s discuss the list of upcoming cameras from Nikon, based on the set of rumors we have and cameras scheduled announcement dates

1. Nikon Z8

Nikon Z8 was rumored to arrive in 2021, but due to chip shortage and limited production line issues, the camera announcement was delayed to 2022. The new Z8 line is said to replace the Nikon D800 Series cameras. According to the latest rumors surfaced over the web, Nikon Z8 prototypes exist in the lab with 45 Mp and 61 Mp Sensors. We do hope and expect the Nikon Z8 development announcement will happen in Q2 and Q3 of 2022.

2. Nikon Z5 Mark II

Nikon Z5 Mark II update is also expected to arrive in 2022. The Nikon Z5 was announced back in July 2020. We are expecting a new Z5 camera in Q4 of 2022. This year we are expecting a major boost on AF tracking performance of the camera as well as full sensor readout while recording 4k videos.

3. Nikon Z30

Nikon Z30 Nikon Z30 is said to be Nikon’s affordable entry-level Z Mount APS-C Camera. Was scheduled to arrive in 2021 but was delayed. Some leaked sketches were also published in early 2021. We are expecting its announcement Aug-Sep 2022. The Camera will arrive without EVF as shown and limited core specs for entry-level users.

4. Nikon Z50 II

Nikon Z50 II – The announcement of the Nikon Z50 II is also expected in the year 2022 with a vari-angle display screen and a new image processor with upscaled AF and Video performance. N-Log, HDR, and Full HD 240fps Videos are expected to arrive inside the Z50 Mark II Camera.

Nikon Registered Two New Camera - N2014 and N2016

Nikon registered two new cameras at a wireless certification agency, these two new model names are N2014 and N2016. No further details available about the registered model from highly trusted Japanese sources.

Nikon Z30 and Nikon Z8 Rumors

If we talk about the latest rumors then, We do have a Nikon DX Format mirrorless camera (Nikon Z30) and a Mirrorless replacement of Nikon D850 (Nikon Z8).

Nikon seems to have done a good job with these initial models and we look forward to more innovative products from Nikon.
