So finally, Hasselblad has announced the 100-megapixel CFV 100C camera back. We had told you that the Hasselblad CFV 100C camera back on in December 2023. As you know, it’s a part of the V system cameras, fully compatible with the models, including system cameras starting from 1957.

Now, what’s new in this digital back? You have to pair this digital back with the nine or seven X adaptor plate with a shutter release button, and it natively accepts XCD lenses specifically designed to match the CFV medium format. Moreover, you can use any of the HCD and V series lenses and even the XPan lenses via the adaptor.

The digital camera back uses a 100-megapixel sensor made by Sony, the same sensor as we have seen in the Hasselblad X2D 100C. The sensor features 15 stops of dynamic range. The back has one terabyte of built-in storage space and also accepts CF Express Type B memory card slots. On the rear side, we have a 3.2 inch, 2.36 million touch screen, and it can also be used with a new hot shoe adapter as well.

BUILT-IN STORAGE SYSTEM

The CFV 100C boasts a remarkable 1TB of built-in storage space, marking it as the first modular camera with built-in storage capabilities. The 1TB of built-in storage space allows users to store up to 4600 RAW images directly on the camera.
