Everything remains look same from specification side. But the sensor is new with more AF points fabricated on it. However, the tech remains same [CMOS] so don’t expect jump in image quality of the camera.
Digital Image stabilization is being introduced inside the camera. Before Canon 200D II / 250D the Digital IS tech was limited to 6D Mark II and Canon T7i / Canon 800D. Canon 200D II arrived with limited improvements, the sensor is revised and AF is vastly improved, we have new Digic 8 image processor that improves overall operational speed of the camera and add 4k as well as C-RAW file option to 200D II. But, despite of having a new image processor, we are getting same continuous shooting speed and ISO ratings. And not only that 4K mode mimic the same limitations we have seen inside the EOS M50 camera.
But, above all Canon 200D II high density AF system is best in its class. You will be getting best in class AF speed while recording videos or shooting still through the display / live view mode.

So, one thing is sure, Canon will not going to use Canon 300D name for Canon 200D Successor.
