According to latest rumors canon is expected to announce Canon EOS 70D on January 15, 2013 with a new lens (probably EF-S), No information is available about the Canon 7D mark II arrival date.

Now we have some more camera predictions, This time few pages appeared at chinese forum xitek with upcoming camera name and specification details… scanned pages are of Japanese ‘Impress’ magazine.
Canon camera coming in 2013
- Canon 7D Mark II may come with newly developed CMOS sensor, 10fps continuous shooting speed and ISO expendable upto 25600.
- Canon 70D will have same sensor / ISO range as 7D Mark II, Screen size will be 3″, high res vari-angle display.
- Canon EOS M2 will arrive on 2013
- Canon 1DSx is also expected to arrive at 2013.
Nikon camera coming in 2013
- Nikon D7200 probability is very high and it will arrive in 2013 with 39 point AF system and ISO range expandable up to 25600.
- Nikon D9000 appearance probability is bit low in my view, the rumored specification says newly developed sensor, 10fps continuous shooting speed and 51 point AF system.
- Nikon V3 will arrive in 2013 (no details about specification available).
- Nikon D4x is also expected to come on 2013.

Canon 2013 Product Roadmap released by CanonWatch, the rumor credibility is high since it is coming from a reliable source, according to the roadmap Canon 70D and 700D may be announced before March 2013, but there is no word about specification of 700D and 70D, see the list of products that may arrive in 2013
Canon 2013 Product Roadmap
- New EOS Video Lenses may arrive may arrive in January 2012.
- EOS-M Lenses (Mirrorless) in February – March. (50mm or 35mm with / fast lenses F2.8)
- 70D and 700D before March 2013
- 46 Mp DSLR in Q3 of 2013. (New sensor optimize for low light performance, 6fps continuous shooting speed and it will not have the “D” in its name, It said to something very new. )
The roadmap sounds good and reasonable, Canon updates its XXXD series yearly and XXD series in every two year, about EOS-M Lenses – multiple sources confirmed that 2013 will bring new range of lenses for Canon mirrorless section, 46 Mp DSLR (hoax?) rumor started since Nikon announced its D800 DSLR, we need some images or detailed specification to confirm the arrival of 46 Mp Megapixel monster.

 New rumors coming above the surface,Canon may announce a megapixel monster 3D(name is still not confirmed) with 46.1 Megapixel sensor on PhotoPlus exhibition in NY, from October 24th to 27th.
The Canon Megapixel Monster will arrive with the following specification
- 46.1MP
- 5fps
- 16bit
- ISO: 100-12800
Canon will also introduce new sensor design in Upcoming Canon 7D II, 70D, 700D and 3D DSLR, we will update you soon as we get any new info.

According to latest rumors canon will merge the current 60D and 7D camera into ONE 70D, just like few days ago Canon have merged the 1d and 1ds series to the 1D X, So the upcoming 70D will have professional features and rugged construction just as 7D.
The 7D series will be upgraded with a Full-Frame sensor, canon is preparing to introduce its new affordable series of full-frame camera for entry level Full Frame users. same as Nikon D600?
Canon 70D expected arrival date is Sep 2012, we have no info about the 7D Mk II announcement date.
