As you can see from the initial specification the camera is using the same sensor as Panasonic GH5, although they have upgraded EVF and battery from Panasonic S5.
The battery life of the Panasonic GH5 Mark II camera improved. The Panasonic GH5 Mark II uses the BLK22 battery of the Panasonic S5 camera. So, more or less.
The new Panasonic GH5 camera allows a USB power supply, USB power charging, USB power delivery which was not possible with the old GH5 camera.
More of less the Video and still specs of the camera remain the same which is really disappointing for those who are waiting for an upgrade.

In our previous post, we discussed that Since Sony already announce the Sony A7R IVA camera and Sony A7R IIIA. So, now the Sony A7R V camera announcement will happen in 2022. They have already updated their old models and not in the mood to announce the new one this year. Now, it’s too early to expect anything right now, but a Chinese tech website published the specification of the Sony A7R V camera. Olympus to bring a new firmware update to the E-M1 X camera in June as per the latest rumors we have from rumor mills. In general, we have seen that the only big reason camera makers bring any major firmware update to older models since they are still not prepared to announce the new one yet. So, it’s very clear that if a major firmware update arrives for the EM1X Camera the Olympus E-M1X Mark II Camera announcement will be delayed to 2022.

Tamron working on a new lens 16-70mm F4 Lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Most probably they will announce it first for Sony Mirrorless cameras since Sony shares their E-Mount details with third-party lens makers and they don’t have to do reverse engineering as with Nikon and Canon systems. Later one we may see RXD and other series of Lenses for Canon and Nikon system cameras once they are able to successfully decode new RF and Z Mount AF Algo.

As we all know Canon EOS R3 Camera coming with an eye-controlled AF feature. Now take a look at a patent that shows eye-controlled AF features in the Canon Mirrorless camera. The patent was filed on October 16, 2020, and published on April 29, 2021.
The Menu below shows the options available to uses while setting up the eye-controlled AF feature. There is a lot of customization and controls can be seen in the images below.

As you can see in the image below, as you move your eye the focus bracket will also follow up your eye position and will do AF as per your viewing location.
