With the latest firmware update Sony fixes multiple issues reported by the users in past few months, those including, blinking pixels issue and improving overall stability of the camera.
Issues Fixed
- blinking pixels phenomenon at the bottom edge of an image, at XAVC 4K (PAL 25p) recording
- solves the touch-pannel problem (sometime it become unresponsive)
- Improving the stability of the entire camera system
So, if you are a owner of Sony A7 III firmware Version 1.01, then it is a important update and you should update to make your camera more perfect and free from several issues.

There is also an issue with color banding when shooting in silent mode. I hear most mirrorless cameras also show banding when shooting in silent mode.
