Pentax finally announced its K30 Entry Level Digital SLR camera, the K30 features 16.3Mp APS-C CMOS Image Sensor, Built-in image stabilization, Continuous shooting speed of 6 frames per second, Full HD video recording and Rugged body design.

The Pentax K30 captures Full HD video with full time AF at three selectable frame rates (30, 25, or 24 frames per second.), features h.264 compression, flexible exposure control, and HDR finishing options.

The New Camera comes with a advance image processor PRIME M and SAFOX IXi+ autofocus engine features an AF assist lamp, light source sensor and improved optical components, the K30 have 11 point (9 cross) wide autofocus system with a light wavelength sensor and diffraction lens for fast and accurate Auto Focusing.
Pentax K30 have a high resolution 3.0″ Wide-Angle Display and Glass Pentaprism Viewfinder, You also get focus peaking highlights in display unit to help you while you are composing your shot manually (without AF).

The new 50mm lens is only 1.5 inches long, lightweight (4.3 ounces) and comes at $249 only, available from July 2012.
