Finally, we have the press shots of the DJI Neo 2 drone, and these are the multiple product images set for official release, now available just before the official announcement of the drone. Other than that, not only Leaked images, but we also have the confirmed set of core specifications of the DJI Neo 2 drone as of October 24, 2025. Let’s dive into the details. Thanks to Igor Bogdanov @Quadro_News for bringing up details and leaked images before the announcement.
New Design and Build
Clocking in at 135g and 130x90x50mm , the Neo 2 stays ultra-portable, dodging registration hassles under 250g. The good thing is that we are getting new omnidirectional sensors for 360° obstacle avoidance, so those are also very much visible in the front part of the drone. And on the rear side, we have a digital transmission receiver and antenna that is being used to robust the signal handling without any delay or while you are using the DJI goggles and wireless controller. So these digital transmissions will play a very important role if you love to have an FPV-style experience. The DJI Neo 2 seems to be highly optimised for indoor/outdoor reliability and uses for professionals as well as beginners.

I’ve been a photographer for decades and also am very excited about the possibility of taking video plus stills from a drone.
In reference to the Neo or Neo 2, Will you see the horizon tilt when turning left or right in FPV? That is important to me because I like it to simulate true flight.
No, the DJI Neo and Neo 2 uses HorizonBalancing stabilization by default in its FPV mode, which actively corrects for roll tilts up to ±45° during turns.
If you’re set on seeing the horizon tilt like in a real and authentic FPV feel, I’d recommend for DJI Avata 3 instead.
It seems logical that both the DJI Neo and DJI Neo 2 are 130 mm long, but the DJI Neo is 157 mm wide and the Neo 2 is 90 mm wide.
Draw a rectangle on a piece of paper that is 130 mm long and 90 mm wide,
or make a rectangle on your phone/computer, that is 130 pixels long and 90 pixels wide.
Then take one of the DJI Neo 2 images taken from above and try to fit it into the rectangle.
