So, finally, we have the Fuji X-T30 III camera, and this camera reminds me of classic DSLR Days, where we have extensive manual controls with the camera. Once you see the camera, it does have the ultra-popular, and one of the most used 26-megapixel X-Trans APS-C sensor inside this body of 378g, not only lightweight. The camera will cost you only $999 for body only, so that’s really a dealbreaker camera in terms of the sensor that you’re getting, the extensive manual controls that you get (which of course photographers will love), and the price you pay, other than that.
Key specifications
- 26MP X-Trans APS-C BSI CMOS sensor
- Film simulation dial with recipe positions
- Tilt up/down rear screen
- 2.36M dot EVF
- 4K/60 video with 1.18x crop, 6.2K/30 full-sensor capture
- 315 shot-per-charge battery life, 425 in power saving mode
The X-T30 III will be available from November 2025 at a recommended price of $999 [B&H Store]. There will also be the option to buy the camera with a new, unusually wide, 13-33mm F3.5-6.3 OIS zoom lens, which will cost around $1150.

20 to 50mm full-frame equivalent focal length for expansive landscapes and flexible framing. Four-stop optical image stabilization makes handheld operation
The most important thing that I have to say about this camera is the upgraded autofocus system now with the X-T30 III. It can not only lock autofocus accurately, but the camera is able to track its face as well as different subjects like animals, vehicles, with ease. So the autofocus system of the Fuji X-T30 III camera is now getting a bit closer to the Nikon Z50 II, of course—and obviously behind the Canons and the Sonys. Apart from all these things, you are also getting a 13-33mm lens alongside the camera, which is equivalent to 20-50mm in full frame, so this is the overall configuration of the camera if you love to buy for photography purposes. This is one of the best available at this price.
Now for video, the camera is able to record 6.2K open gate and has very minimal crop in the 4K 60fps mode; other than that, you’re getting F-Log support, 10-bit recording, and stellar autofocus performance, even in the video mode.

What are the things that I don’t like about the Fuji? Obviously, not having the fastest autofocus system, but yeah—even though they are giving a lot of things inside this camera, and obviously we are missing the IBIS system—but for this price, I think I am asking too much thinking about IBIS. If you love to have an IBIS body, you can go with cameras like the Sony A6700 at a higher price range, or even in Fuji, we have the Fuji X-S20 camera that features IBIS and is available at a bit higher price. So more or less, overall, the X-T30 III is one of the best cameras for entry-level use Fuji has ever announced, and I really appreciate the effort made by Fuji specifically for hybrid shooters.
