Sony A5100 image leaked by a anonymous source, but the image look real and the rumored announcement date is August 19, 2014. We don’t have specification details yet but the design look similar to the current Sony A5000 camera.
Update: Latest leaks suggest that upcoming A5100 camera will feature sensor as of Sony A6000 with blazing fast AF speed, the body and display unit will remains same as of NEX 5T camera.

First set of specification of upcoming Sony A99II camera leaked today, the upcoming Sony A99II camera will feature 36 Megapixel fullframe CMOS sensor (same as of Sony A7R camera) and the most important feature of upcoming A99II will be “World Fastest AF”, its quite obvious that Sony will achieve it with the help of SLT technology, the other features will also include NFC and WiFi connectivity, Sony is also rumored to announce new 24-105mm G lens with A99 II, expected to announce on September 2014.

 We already published few days ago that Sony registered Sony A5100 mirrorless camera and new QX30 smart lens on korean radio research agency, Now Sony is sending press invites to professional photojournalist and bloggers worldwide for IFA show in Berlin 2014, you can see the Sony press image above with a smartlens (QX30?) inside it, so finally we expect that we may see Sony new QX30 Smartlens and Sony A5100 mirrorless camera on Sep 3rd with other new products.

 High ISO RAW Test of Sony A77 II camera done by french website focus-numerique, you can download the high resolution sample images from here.
 visible image noise actually starts from ISO 3200, Both Sony A77 II and Canon 70D showing excellent image quality but Nikon D7100 and Pentax K-3 is showing bit high amount of noise compared to Canon or Sony.

 A new set of specification is leaked by a anonymous source so take it as a grain of salt, according to the leaked specification the upcoming fullframe cybershot camera will feature a contactable 35-70mm F2.8 zoom lens fitted over the 36 MP Fullframe Sensor (yep.. same as the A7R sensor).
However there are some rumors published earlier via trusted sources that suggest that upcoming RX2 camera may feature curved sensor with fixed lens. So if we take both the rumor seriously then It is also possible that we may see two variants of the fullframe cybershot camera in future one with curved sensor design and other with flat A7R sensor and powerzoom lens.

 Latest rumors suggest that Sony is currently testing the prototypes of Sony NEX 7 type fullframe camera, the camera is under testing and we don’t have any confirmed date that when it will arrive (during photokina or later)
We already published a post that (Sony Affordable Fullframe NEX Coming on Photokina 2014) the Sony is preparing announce affordable fullframe camera during photokina show, according to the rumored specifications the upcoming camera will arrive with simple NEX5 type design and price will be under $1000.

 We have compared all the (best) mid-range travel zoom camera available in market today – Canon SX520 HS vs Nikon P530 vs Sony HX300, the specification of Sony HX300 really impressed us.. take a look at the specification details below…
 Out of all these three camera only Sony HX300 features 50X optical zoom lens whereas Canon and Nikon limited to 42X optical zoom, the wide-end aperture range of Sony is better than Nikon and Canon and Sony also features very broad ISO range from 80-12800. Based on specification sheet Sony HX300 will provide better image quality and more zoom than Canon SX520 HS and Nikon P530.
Macro shooting is bit better with Canon and Nikon since they both support 0 cm macro focus range on the other side Sony limited to 1 cm.
Again when if we look at continuous shooting speed, video recording and display system Sony clearly wins here.
Verdict: Sony features better core specification compared to its competitors, we recommend you to go with Sony HX300 camera.
The Price of Sony HX300 is Similar to Canon SX520 HS and bit less than Nikon P530.
