According to the latest rumors Samsung is working on a camera that is more light sensitive and its name is Samsung NX1 LX, the upcoming camera have low resolution sensor and as a result it will have large photosites aka photodiodes that will capture more light compared to the current 28 MP APS-C AF CMOS Sensor of the Samsung NX1 Mirrorless camera.
The camera is expected to arrive on the Q2 and Q3 of 2015, stay with for latest

 Earlier there was rumor that Samsung NX400 is coming on February 2015, but the latest rumors surfaced at sammobile says that the Samsung NX300 successor is coming very soon (possibly in 1st week of Jan), but its name is not a NX400, they skipped the NX400 name and according to trusted sources of samobile the upcoming camera name is Samsung NX500. The camera is rumored to feature the Tizen based OS (same as of NX300 camera), take a look at the rumored specification of the upcoming camera…
Samsung NX500 / NX400 Rumored Specification
– Electronic Viewfinder
– 4K video recording
– with the same sensor NX1 (still multiple reports coming about 28 / 20 MP sensor, but we are almost sure )
– with the same AF system NX1

 Image of Samsung NX300 According to latest rumors surfaced over the web, the Samsung NX400 camera is expected arrive on CES 2015 and it’s almost confirmed that the upcoming camera will features same sensor as of NX1.. take a look at the rumored specification below..

– 28.2MP BSI APS-C CMOS Sensor
– Advanced Hybrid Autofocus System with 205 Phase-Detection AF Points – Same NX1 autofous system
– Built-in EVF
– smaller buffer than nx1 but triple than nx300.
– 4K Video Recording at 24 fps
– no weather sealed body
– Price around $900 with kit len
If we look at the current mirrorless market Samsung NX400 camera will sure give strong competition current flagship camera such as Fujifilm X-T1 and Panasonic GH4 if we look at the price and rumored specification of camera.

The long rumored and not officially announced Samsung S 300mm F2.8 ED OIS NX Lens spotted at PhotoPlus show in New York.
The Lens is attached with recently announced Samsung NX1 camera and the size is really big, the Samsung NX1 camera features a 28 MP APS-C Hybrid CMOS AF sensor and a option to record 4K videos …

According to latest rumors surfaced over the web the Samsung NX400 camera will feature same 28.2MP BSI APS-C CMOS Sensor as of Samsung NX1 camera, the advanced Hybrid Autofocus System will remain same, so the upcoming NX400 camera will feature same 205 Phase-Detection AF Points along with 209 contrast-detection autofocus points as of NX1, no word about the 4K video capability …but we do hope that it will record 4K video.  According to latest rumors surfaced over the web Samsung will announce Black and White APS-C sensor based mirrorless camera, the camera will use the same sensor as of NX300 camera without color array and AA filter.

 More confirmation is coming from multiple sources about the NX400 announcement, as we have told you earlier that Samsung will soon announce two version of Samsung NX400 camera one with EVF and one without EVF.
Upcoming Lenses in 2015
Samsung lens road-map surfaced over the web today, according to the road map Samsung will announce three new high grade lenses in 2015, and more are under development
Samsung 16-80mm f/4 OIS
Samsung S 24mm f/1.4 ED
Samsung S 11-24mm f/2.8 ED OIS
The sad part is Samsung will not announce any entry level lenses in 2015, the full concentration is to enhance the Pro-NX line-up. One more mysterious camera is coming without Bayer filter of 20 megapixel resolution, but we don’t have more details about that camera yet.
