 We are almost confirmed now that the upcoming Panasonic GM2 camera and a new M4/3 compact camera is coming, The upcoming GM2 camera will arrive with built-in EVF and hot-shoe… both features were missing in the GM1 camera. But we don’t expect any major upgrade in the core specification of the camera and the sensor is not new.
 We have been told that the Panasonic compact M4/3 camera will arrive in ultra-compact body design, the camera will have a M4/3 sensor inside, Fixed compact zoom lens, fixed LCD display screen and no EVF.

 According to latest rumors surfaced over the web Panasonic will soon announce its New GM2 camera, successor of Panasonic GM1.
The upcoming camera is rumored to feature built-in EVF (electronic viewfinder) and will also record 4K video, the price will be higher than the current GM1 camera price and expected to arrive during Photokina 2014.

Almost confirmed by multiple sources that Panasonic will soon announce a large sensor compact camera that will feature a big M4/3 sensor inside it with an ultra compact body. The rumor is almost confirmed and expected announcement date is September 2014.

Panasonic officially discontinued the Panasonic GX7 camera today, according to recent rumors there will be no GX8 coming and Panasonic is shutting down the GX series line-up, however we are not confirmed yet, it is also possible that we may see GX8 camera on September 2014.

According to the latest rumors Panasonic will possibly announce its 1 inch sensor based LX8 camera (or more products) on mid August not on July 16th, still we don’t have confirmation about the dates yet.

Sigma is rumored to announce its ART series of lenses for M4/3 mount, we have seen earlier that its ART lenses quality is bit better than Canon L series Lenses (see here) and almost as good as the $4,000 Zeiss Otus (see here).
The some of the upcoming lenses have fast aperture range compared to the currently available M4/3 lenses, no more specification details available… we will update you soon as we get any new info.

Few new tit-bits surfaced over about the upcoming Panasonic LX8 camera, the camera is rumored to feature high resolution 1.44 Million dot viewfinder and will also feature advance 5 axis Stabilization for stills and video, we already know that LX8 will feature new 1 ” sensor and 4K video recording option, expected announcement date is July 16th, 2014… you can read all update related to Panasonic LX8 .
