A good news for Sony A850/A900 owners, as sonyalpharumor today reported that official Sony Hong Kong website already published the A850/A900 firmware upgrade manual!

improvements done are
1) Release shutter without lens.
2) EV compensation upgrade from +3/-3 to +5/-5
3) HDR enhance from +2/-2 EV to +3/-3 EV.
4) Improved AF speed and accuracy, especially in Tele end

NEX-VG10E adds AF support with A-mount lenses

Handycam® NEX-VG10E owners can now enjoy autofocus operation when using their camcorder with a wide range of optional A-mount interchangeable lenses.

Available now for download, a free firmware upgrade adds autofocus support with 14 A-mount SAM and SSM lens models. AF compatibility of the NEX-VG10E with A-mount lenses requires the optional LA-EA1 Mount Adaptor, plus a separate firmware upgrade for the LA-EA1.

Sony PMW-F3 Video compulsion - teaser

This is a teaser for a short shot entirely with the Sony PMW-F3. It will form part of Sea Pool. http://vimeo.com/channels/seapool A documentary currently in production on the Australian ocean pool culture in Sydney and shot early morning at North Narrabeen on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Lenses were Zeiss 40mm UltraPrime, Super Speeds, & 135mm prime.

I’ve done a subtle preliminary grade using Red Giant’s Magic Bullet Looks but we can already see the footage has great possibilities in the grade.
