Sony RX 100 comes with 1 inch, 20.2 MP Exmor CMOS sensor and Canon G1 X comes with 1.5-inch, 14.3 MP CMOS sensor, the resolution on Sony RX 100 is more where as Canon G1 X have large sensor & big photodiodes (due to low resolution) and we know that BIG photodiodes creates LESS NOISE and capture more details,

The rumor is almost confirmed that Panasonic G5, Panasonic LX7 and a new Micro 4/3 Lens Coming Next Week, no details about the specification is currently available.
Based on previous rumors Panasonic G5 may use the same G3 16 Mp sensor with advance image processor, Panasonic GH3 will arrive on September, 2012 (Photokina)

According to latest rumors, Sony will not announce any new APS-C sensor based SLT in 2012, but we will see Sony New Full-Frame and High-End NEX (may be NEX 8 or 9) models during Photokina (September 2012).
List of upcoming camera during photokina (Sep. 2012)
- High-End NEX / Sony NEX – 8 or 9 (name is still not confirmed)
- Sony A9x/99 – Full-Frame SLT
It is also rumored that Sony will announce Two new Full-Frame camera in next 12 months, one will be affordable and other will be High-End Full-Frame SLT.
