Nokia Lumia 920 - Best low light smartphone camera

Best Low light smartphone

For those seeking the best low light smartphone camera, Nokia Lumia 920 is the best option. Engadget tested all the  best smartphone available right now, and the result was amazing, during the test Nokia Lumia 920 showed excellent low-light performance when compared with iPhone 5, HTC One X and Galaxy S III, The worst performance was given by Samsung galaxy S III.

Technicians dimmed the lights and let us snap a static scene with each handset at just 5 lux — a level on par with what you may expect on a dimly lit city street in the middle of the night. The 920 took the cake, without question, but the iPhone didn’t fare too poorly itself, snatching up nearly as much light as the Nokia device. The 808 PureView also performed quite well, but the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III yielded unusable results. see the full review at Engadget

Canon 1DX vs. 5D Mark III - High ISO Test

The DxO Mark Score of Canon 1DX is not confirmed yet but take a look at Canon 1Dx vs 5D Mark III High ISO images comparison, the Canon 1Dx images showing better color and more details at High ISO compared to 5D Mark III.

If the lighting conditions you’re shooting in doesn’t require an ISO over 3200, both cameras will deliver almost identical quality images. However, if you need to shoot with an ISO 6400 and above (especially at 12,800 and above), the Canon EOS-1D X will deliver a superior, cleaner image. This does not mean the Canon EOS 5D Mark III cannot render deliverable images at ISO 12,800, it just means that the Canon EOS-1D X controls the noise in the shadow area much better in a high ISO. See it for yourself in the images below.
