We all know that Nikon D600 sensor have some serious dust and oil issue (see here and here), Nikon today responded over it and says
Measures to reduce effects of dust or foreign matter are optimized for each model. Therefore, the dust reduction system’s internal mechanism varies with each model. If the effects of dust or foreign matter on photographs become bothersome, customers are encouraged to consult their local Nikon service center.
Nikon simply says if you have dust and oil … go to the nearest service Nikon Center, D600 buyers out there who are waiting for a satisfactory reply are very disappointed, see what Imagine resource Dave Etchells said
My guess is they’re still in the figuring-out stage (what exactly is the cause, what’s the fix, etc, etc), so they’re not prepared to go into any detail about it yet. I really think they’ll have a solution for people, once they’ve figured out just what that solution needs to be.
Dave is absolutely write, I also think after few months the new batch of D600 may arrive with modified design to reduce the dust problem to a maximum extent, but Nikon will surely lose new & old users due the dust and oil issue.

A good tutorial to show you how the focal length impact your portrait photography, with a 200mm lens you get excellent out-of-focus background and beautiful face and at 35mm you can see some significant wide angle distortion, for more details see the tutorial below
By Jay P. Morgan
The lens or focal length of the lens you choose has a profound impact on the image. It effects the perspective, background and features of the subject. In this lesson everyone should understand what the different focal lengths do to the human face and how they change the background. Why do you choose a 135 mm lens to shoot a head shot of a beautiful woman but use a 24mm to shoot a clown. Keeping the head the same size in the frame and changing the focal length of the lens, I will shoot a series of images that demonstrate how focal length effects the features of the human face and how it changes perspective which effects the background. We will go on to demonstrate a simple 2 light and one reflector fashion lighting set up. I learned a lot from this exercise and I hope you do to.

According to MTF chart the lens produces sharp images + nice color & contrast at center of the lens at MAX aperture and sharpness decreases when we move towards the corner of the lens, overall the MTF chart of Samyang 8mm f/2.8 lens is very impressive.
It gives an immersive field of view – 180 degrees, with a 12mm 35mm equivalency. True diagonal fisheye lens for APS-C format, meaning that the image it produces fills the frame on APS-C cameras. As with all current Samyang lenses it is manual focus only.
The optical construction of the lens is 10 elements placed in 8 optical groups including one aspherical and two ED elements. The aperture consists of six diaphragm blades with apertures available from f/2.8 to f/22. It has an Internal focusing system which means the lens form does not change in size when focusing. Additionally, the Samyang 8mm fisheye features the latest generation multilayer anti–reflection ultra multi-coating (UMC) to minimise flare and ghosting. The integrated lens hood also helps to reduce flare from behind the lens.
Due to the very large depth of field produced by such a small focal length lens, focus can be easily achieved by simply setting the approximate distance on the lens scale. Setting the lens to around 1m at f8 will produce images that are sharp from very close objects to infinity. As with all manual focus lenses for critical or in very close focus situations you can use Live-View to fine-tune the focus manually.
The Samyang 8mm f/2.8 fish-eye lens is also capable of producing panoramas and 360 virtual tours, including full 360 degree images.
Fisheye lenses are also popular for special effects use where distortion, exaggerated perspective, or extreme depth of field are desired.
This lens offers superior optics and exceptional value for money.
Samyang 8mm 1:2.8 UMC fish-eye is available in either a black or silver finish
