I am really impressed to see how Leica is evolving with time, recent patent suggest Leica is planning to implement GUI based menu system as well as in display aperture control ring with LIVE PREVIEW. So, upcoming future Leica camera will have large display units with GUI based manual controls on it.
The mode dial position is also customizable, so either you are shooting with your left or right hands you can customize controls as per your needs.

Leica announced the Leica V-Lux 5 camera today. The Leica V-Lux 5 is actually a rebranded Panasonic FZ1000 II camera. With some slight design change you will be getting same core specification as you have seen inside .
You will be getting same sensor, lens and exactly same core specs in both the camera. However, price is bit different for V-LUX5 you have to pay $1250 and Panasonic FZ1000 II available at $850.
