GOOD NEWS: According to recent rumors surfaced over the web Canon next announcement will be SX60 HS camera, the Canon SX50HS upgrade is overdue and Canon fans / users anxiously waiting for the successor of Canon Megazoom Camera.
No specification is out yet but based on rumored specification and compact superzoom lens patents we two possibilities, the Canon SX60 HS will have 60X zoom (based on rumored specification and competitors average zoom range ) or it may be a 100X Zoom lens (based on patent application surfaced a year ago.)

If Canon would at least say a statement will happen on such a date I would be happy, but I will have bought a Sony by time they get round to it, shame really.
