Photographers Reaction after looking at the Canon G1X Mark III specs
Canon should read these comments, we are not saying anything its the people voice. Introduction of APS-C sensor under a compact body is a nice thing, but the specs need to be improved for the price they are asking.

Never underestimate Canons ability to shoot itself in the foot. _sigh_
No 4k.
Did you hear that, Panasonic? How about that LX200?
Canon appears to be signaling a willingness to move camera prices higher, something that Ricoh, Panasonic and Nikon will certainly accept. Sony won’t mind either, as shown by their most recent product introductions.
They should scrap this camera like Nikon did it’s DX series.Without 4k nobody is going to buy it.
No 4K, limited zoom range and only 24Mb … spec seems 12 months behind the curve.
Only a minority of users have 4K monitors, so I’d question whether 4K video is a ‘must have’ feature. Weather sealing would be more important if this is to serve as an every day carry camera.
Photographer Comments are right on.
I’m a wildlife photographer. I don’t need any video ability. Just produce a hi quality camera, pro series and stop messing with your customers!! Full frame with crop ability like the Nikon D 850.
I think time to make a change !!!! Wake up canon
