Nikon Registered a New Battery - EN-EL15c

Nikon EN-EL15c battery Registered at Russian certification agency. No further details available, but as per the rumors we have Nikon may use the new battery in the upcoming Nikon Z8 or Nikon D900 camera.

What the difference between EN-EL15b vs EN-EL15?

One major difference between the Nikon EN-EL15b and its older counterparts is that the new EN-ELb can be charged in the Z series cameras via a USB connection while the older series of bettries which include EN-EL15a and EN-EL15 cannot. All three batteries can be charged with the MH-25 or MH-25a battery charger.

Can be identified with product name EN-EL15 with A-L as the 9th digit in the lot number
