The LX100 had high specs for the Lens. I did tests side by side with GX7 and EM5. The LX100 gave very poor results in low light. Not clear.
The contacts on the dials on the LX100 became dirty, oxidized and difficult to select.
From what I thought was a great camera, was very disappointing. The GX7 although bigger, has inbuilt flash and far out out weighs the LX100 and is the best of the three. The EM5 developed problems with the screen, dividing in half with a pink tint. However this camera is waterproof and more rugged than the GX7.
So I still use all three for different things.
I’d be dubious about buying an LX200 in spite of all the hyped gadgets. Basically, you want a reliable camera with a good all round lens and the LX100 isn’t that.
I don’t expect 4K60p in a camera this small unless it’s 8-bit 4:2:0. I’d love it if it could do 4K30p 10-bit 4:2:2, but even that may be asking too much.
If they can do a flip and twist LCD with mic input and headphone jack, they’ll have made the one true 4K vlogger’s camera nobody else seems to want to make.
Well I am also waiting for the Panasonic LX200 camera, I am also expecting that Panasonic will going to introduce a 20 Megapixel sensor inside that camera. Because 12MP sensor res is not good for still shots if you are a stock shooter.
And one of the most important thing is the introduction more improved video modes and I am expecting at least 4K video capture at 60 frames per second and above all for a professional video blogger I like to have external microphone port inside the Panasonic LX 200 camera.
Panasonic nx200 camera is definitely one of the best camera ever made by Panasonic and not only best camera from Panasonic …it was one of the best compact camera available at that price.
I am expecting the upcoming Panasonic LX200 camera will going to feature
1. 20MP Senspr
2. New DFD engine
3. ISO 51200 (usable upto 6400)
4. 4K 60p
5. Variangle
6. Mic input
7. Rugged body
I have the LX100, which I use regularly for video and stills, and love it’s picture quality.
My main objection is the LCD is virtually useless in bright light, and I was hoping that the LX200 would improve on that feature.
