Confirmed: Nikon Working on a Mirrorless camera

Nikon Mirrorless

We have told you few days ago that Nikon is working on a high-end fullframe Mirrorless camera. Now, we got official confirmation from Nikon that they are working on a high-end Mirrorless camera. Take a look what Nikon said to dpreview

While details are confidential, we can say that we are currently developing new mirrorless products that build upon Nikon’s strengths, and offer the performance prospective customers expect, including the ultimate optics performance, image-processing technologies, strength and durability, and operation

No time frame available at the moment about new cam arrival. We will update you soon as we get any new information.

Have anyone compared Nikon V3 specification with Sony A9 ?

  • Robert Smith

Stella, there are two very different cameras: one is a small 1 in sensor camera which is not manufactured any more and can be found well below $1,000, while another one is a current, large, full frame which costs well over 5 times as much. Comparing their specs would be pointless; they have practically nothing in common, and address very different markets.
