Its look like Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi will give strong competition to Gopro action cameras very soon. The latest edition of Yi action camera features 12MP 1/2.3″ sensor, Sony sensor is also capable to record 4K videos on the go. The other features of the camera Yi II Action includes Dual band WiFi, Ambarella A9SE75 chipset, a 155-degree wide-angle 7-layer optical glass lens and a 2.19″ LCD rear touchscreen display for convenient shooting.
The first generation of Yi action camera was limited to full HD video recording therefore it’s a big jump over the predecessor if we compare the specification of both the camera. Introduction of 1400 Mah battery will allow you to record 120 minutes of 4K video without any issue.
The camera is available in three colors Rose Gold, White, and Black and available for price tag for $249 only.
