 Based on latest rumors from NR the Nikon is ready to update its coolpix line with a bit of surprise, Nikon will announce a android based S800 camera with the following specification
Rumored Specification of Nikon S800
- 25-250 mm lens
- 3.5″ OLED screen
- The camera runs all Google Play apps
- The camera will probably run Android 2.3
- Built-in GPS
- Built-in Wi-Fi
- Possible announcement: August 22, 2012
Nikon will also update its Nikon P7000 flagship compact camera and we will also see some regular update on affordable range, the new flagship name is not confirmed but it may called Nikon P7200, It is expected to arrive with a better CMOS sensor and 28-200mm f/2-4 lens.
More android based smartphone camera
 Nikon is not the new player, Polaroid already announced its first android based smart camera back in January 2012, but it is still not available for sale.

More leaked images of canon mirrorless camera surfaced over the web today, just few hours ago we have published the first leaked images of canon EOS M Mirrorless camera, According to latest rumors the Canon EOS M mirrorless camera with Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM and Canon EF-M 18-55mm lens is to be announced on Monday.
The front of the camera look very attractive, a real competitor of Nikon V1 camera.
Based on the rumors we are getting the upcoming mirrorless may feature touch LCD, but the canon EOS M camera is missing Pro-mode dial buttons as other canon pro-compact camera (Like canon G12 or Canon G1 X)

 Two more leaked image of Panasonic GF5 leaked by nphoto.com, the new GF5 introduces a handgrip to GF series but the overall design look same as Panasonic GF3 , according to the source the low light performance of new Panasonic GF5 is similar to Canon 7D / 60D.
