According to latest rumors, Sony will announce a A-mount 16-50 mm f/3.5-5.6 contactable zoom lens (same dimensions the Lumix 14-42mm X PZ) with Sony NEX-F5, the upcoming 16-50mm lens also have Optical Image Stabilization.
Sony NEX-F5 is rumored to have same F3 sensor, flexible LCD screen and in-built Wi-Fi connectivity, expected announcement date of Sony 16-50 mm lens & Sony NEX-F5 is Sep, 2012.
Adding a small fan to the back of Sony NEX 5N camera helps to increase the continuous recording time up to 2times, the 9 Volt battery powered fan runs up to 6 hours.
1. 9 Volt battery will last about 6 hours I did a battery test and got tired and gave up at the 6 hour mark but it may last longer.
2. Put fan mod on before you start filming if you know you are going to film longer then six to twelve minutes, because once the camera over heats its hard to get the camera back to lower operating temperatures.
3. Make sure when gluing the fan to the square plastic base that you position the fan so its blowing toward the camera
4. Only use a small amount of Velcro so it is easy to take the fan on and off. You don’t need much to hold this small thing in place.
Sony NEX-F3 uses 16.1 megapixels CMOS EXMOR sensor same as Sony A37, ISO range from 100 to 16000, 25-point Auto Focus, records 1080 Full HD Video in either 60i or 24p frames per second, It features Continuous shooting speed of 5.5 frames per second, the NEX-F3 includes a built-in popup flash and it also supports electronic viewfinder and microphone accessories same as the NEX-5N, NEX-F3’s has a 3.0-inch diagonal, a VGA (640 x 480 pixel) resolution LCD.

First leaked image of Sony NEX-F3 surfaced over the web today, the Sony NEX-F3 comes with 16 megapixel sensor same as Sony NEX-C3, new BIONZ image processor for fast fps and low noise in JPEG & Video output, the NEX-F3 have built-in flash and 180 degree tiltable LCD screen. The camera is rumored to be announced on 2nd or 3rd Week of May with Sony A37.
Sony about to make a new product announcement within few weeks, according to latest rumors from SAR, Sony will announce A37 and NEX-C3 successor soon (within few week). We have no specification details or announcement date yet, we will update you soon as we get any information.
Sony may also show its Full-Frame SLT prototype to the world, like they did with the A77 months before the real announcement.
