Sony A7 II finally announced by Sony today, the new Sony A7 II comes with Sony home grown 5 axis image stabilization system, the camera also features improved firmware and auto-focus algorithm that minimizes the start-up time by 40% and improves the AF speed by 30%, now take a look at the major specification difference below…
The Sony A7 II will arrive 5 axis image stabilization and XAVC S video format, these are the two new things that added to the A7 II camera. The Sony A7 II camera features same resolution as of its predecessor Sony A7 camera and AF points are also same (117 Phase detect and 25 contrast detect), but due to the improved AF algorithm the new Sony A7 II takes 30% less time than the Sony A 7 camera to acquire AF.
The Sony A7 is bit heavier may be due to the built-in 5 axis image stabilization system
Verdict: We don’t find any major difference between the A7 II and A7 except the image stabilization, we also do hope that after few months Sony will bring firmware update to implement fast AF in A7 too. For current A7 users we recommend you to wait for Sony A7 III camera.

Finally the first set Specification of Sony upcoming Medium format camera surfaced over the web today, but it’s hard to believe that the specification is true.. Since the leaked document is showing a newly developed medium format sensor with active phase AF pixels inside it (not same as of recently announced Sony Medium Format sensor) and the next wired thing is it’s limited ISO range of 100-6400… on the other hand the Sony FF sensor based Sony A7 camera features a ISO range of 100-25600 and the recently announced Pentax 645Z camera (that uses Sony Sensor) features ISO range of 100 to 204800.

Latest rumors suggest that Sony in collaboration with Zeiss and Mamiya are preparing to announce new medium format on 2015, no detailed specification available yet, as we know that Sony is producing high quality CMOS sensors used in the latest cameras like PhaseOne and Hasselblad, so there will be no problem for Sony to develop a medium format camera. we will update you soon as we get any new information.

A new set of specification is leaked by a anonymous source so take it as a grain of salt, according to the leaked specification the upcoming fullframe cybershot camera will feature a contactable 35-70mm F2.8 zoom lens fitted over the 36 MP Fullframe Sensor (yep.. same as the A7R sensor).
However there are some rumors published earlier via trusted sources that suggest that upcoming RX2 camera may feature curved sensor with fixed lens. So if we take both the rumor seriously then It is also possible that we may see two variants of the fullframe cybershot camera in future one with curved sensor design and other with flat A7R sensor and powerzoom lens.
