Nikon D810 score published by the DXOMark lab today, the camera overall score is bit better than the Nikon D800E camera but the low light score of Nikon D800E is still better than the newly announced Nikon D810 camera.
As we can see that Sony A7R having the same sensor scores bit low score and 5D Mark III is now outdated and need a refreshment.

Both camera features same type of Sensor and image resolution, but Nikon will cost you $1000 more compared to Sony A7R, take a look below and see the major specification difference between them.
Sensor: Nikon D810 and Sony A7R features same features resolution and both camera doesn’t have built in low-pass filter, but due to the advance image Expeed 4 image processor of Nikon the Nikon D810 is able to expand its ISO range 1-stop more than Sony A7R.
AF System: Advance Multi-CAM 3500FX Auto Focus Sensor with 51 Points with 15 cross-type sensors, the Nikon D810 comes with HYBRID System that uses phase and contrast based technology for fast, quick and more precise AF, on the other the Sony A7R comes with contrast based system with only 25 AF points, hence Nikon clearly wins here.
Continuous shooting: Nikon D810 will give you bit faster (1fps) shooting speed at full resolution compared to the Sony A7R Camera.
Display: The display screen of Nikon D810 is bit big (3.2″ vs 3″) but Nikon D810 have slightly less screen dots compared to Sony A7R (1,229,000 vs 1,230,000).
Viewfinder: Nikon D810 features optical viewfinder and Sony A7R has EVF.
Wireless connectivity: The Sony A7R features built-i WiFi and NFC, it allows you to share your files without any physical pain and you can also use your smart device to capture your composition from a distance.
Verdict: Nikon D810 clearly wins the comparison since the Nikon features more ISO range and advance AF system, based on specification comparison review we highly recommend you to buy Nikon D810 DSLR.

Canon 5D Mark III is a 2+ year old camera and waiting for its successor, on the other hand we have recently announced Nikon D810 camera, successor of Nikon D800 and Nikon D800E (both). Take a look at the detailed specification comparison review below and share your thoughts with us….
Nikon D810 will give your more resolution compared to Canon 5D Mark III, but more resolution decreases the size of photodiodes and hence you will get noise at High ISO range with Nikon D810 (theoretically)
No OLPF (Optical Low Pass Filter) in Nikon D810 will give you sharp images (more details) when viewed at 100%, Canon 5D Mark III doesn’t have low pass filter. The difference will be clearly visible when you capture you images at base ISO range.
More ISO range in 5D Mark III – the Canon 5D Mark III features more HIGH ISO range 100-25600 (High Sensitivity Mode: 50-102400) compared to Nikon D810 – standard ISO range is 64-12800 (High Sensitivity Mode: 32-51200), hence you will get better low-light images with the Canon 5D Mark III DSLR.
Advance AF system in Canon 5D Mark III – Canon 5D Mark III features advance 61 point system features up to 41 cross-type AF points (with f/4 lens support) and 5 dual diagonal AF points (with f/2.8 sensitivity); this AF system is highly accurate and extremely low-light sensitive. The Nikon limited to 51 point AF system and 15 cross-type sensors, so Canon 5D Mark III will do faster AF than Nikon D810.
Better Video mode in Nikon D810 – The Nikon D810 captures Full HD videos @ 60fps frame rate and it can be recorded in MOV, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 file formats, Canon 5D Mark III Full HD video recording is limited to 30 fps and available file formats are same as Nikon D810 (MOV, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264).
Verdict: Canon 5D Mark III features more ISO range and advance AF system compared to Nikon D810, so we recommend you to buy Canon 5D Mark III over Nikon D810 DSLR.
