Comparison between Canon 5D mark III and Black Magic Cinema Camera is bit odd, since BBCC have sensor smaller than the M4/3 format, but the small sensor camera performed surprisingly good during the test, the results are difficult to digest for Canon.

Fuji full frame mirrorless camera Coming Soon

Just few days ago in an interview with Amateurphotographer, Fujifilms operations manager Hiroshi Kawahara said that the company is looking into the possibility of a full frame mirrorless camera.

Kawahara also confirmed that the upcoming and some current X lenses is large enough to accommodate full frame, he also added that some current, wider, focal-length lenses would not be fully compatible with full-frame.

“Fujifilm technicians are seriously investigating the possible launch of a full-frame compact system camera (CSC) and are focusing on the sensor and processor that would be required.

Kawahara confirmed that the covering circle of Fuji’s current X-series lenses is large enough to accommodate full frame. But he accepted that some current, wider, focal-length lenses would not be fully compatible with full-frame and that this risks alienating existing users.”
