Nikon DF will sit in between D800 and D610 DSLRs, the screen shot is grabbed from Df camera presentation, you can see the code name written as Q1020 of Nikon DF camera.
The other things we have noticed that, the upcoming Nikon DF camera is not included on current series of Nikon DSLR pyramid, it is possible if Nikon DF become successful Nikon may announce more products related to DF series (they will make there own pyramid)

The non-Ai lens can be used.

Continuous shooting 5.5 frames / sec.
Battery same as D5300.
shutter speed is configurable from the command dial above the camera, can be set in 1/3 steps.
