Ok. Sigma introduced a patent for a video sensor. If this camera can do that well, it would be great. If the Pansonic used it’s sensor, the better.

Companies have to gangup to survive Sony. Sony has taken much of the market and acquired technology. From a previous announcement, Sony is preferencing its own brand use of latest sensor technology for a year before. So to make a competive camera, companies have to come up with something. There is a enough non Sony technology out there, which if combined give hope.

  • I have used the Sigma DP3, and found that its APS-C sized sensor holds up extremely well even when compared to FF sensors.

Looking forward to see what they come up with next!
