Panasonic GH5 o feature Dual ISAccording to latest rumors coming from trusted rumor mill the upcoming Panasonic GH5 will have built-in image stabilization system. And again take a look at the list of updated core specification of the consumer cinema camera.

We can expect enhanced Image stabilization feature in Panasonic GH5 camera since even a mid-range Panasonic GX8 camera features built-in Dual. IS system that works in collaboration with OIS (optical image stabilization) lenses. `

Panasonic GH5 Rumored Specification

• GH5 has on sensor stabilization.
• 2 SD slots for the GH5.
• No more limit about the duration of recording. 29 minutes in Europe.
• The audio XLR microphone hotshoe mounted I/O interface will be compatible with the DMC-GH4.
• sizes are identical of the GH4

The camera development announcement was made by Panasonic on September 19th, 2016 and as per rumors suggest camera shipping will start from March / April 2017.

    I think a big part of the announcement that was missed here is the “custom sensor” part. I am excited to hear about this as it could mean a return to multi-aspect over-sized sensors for zero crop or even something like the JVC’s super35mm-sized micro 4/3 sensor.

    Just to fantasize – maybe some internal ND like in recent FZ2500 Sell two variations – one with mechanical shutter and no ND, and one w/o mech shutter and built in NDs!
