We know that three industries Jobs wanted to change is television, textbooks, and photography. So finally after iPhone, iPad, iTV and now its time for Digital camera, This week rumor heated up when iLounge released its comprehensive New iPad Buyers’ Guide (see the PDF here), an overview of accessories, apps and other information associated with the new iPad, It includes a two-page spread arguing that Apple may be working on a camera.
page 72 —“Making the case for a standalone iSight Camera.” I’ll share more on this topic shortly, but for now, I’ll say that this two-page spread very nearly had a different title. We were tipped that this project is actually happening at Apple right now, but we didn’t feel confident enough in our source to call it a certainty; it’s therefore billed as speculation. Still, there’s enough smoke to make us think there’s a fire.
Now a bit more details, after the publication of Buyer’s guide, Jeremy Horwitz (Editor-in-Chief, iLounge) posted in his blog
Just as with the iPhone, Apple wants to give users a powerful tool that can be used to produce awesome results without needing to understand technical details, jargon, or legacy controls.
The product is planned for after the release of the iTV, and would leverage iCloud for storage
We found that Apple had re-trademarked iSight in April 2012, notably expanding beyond the prior iSight trademark’s reliance on “Computer hardware, namely, a camera requiring use of a personal computer for taking still and moving pictures”
Even iLounge believe that they doesn’t expect any Apple camera product to be announced soon until the long-rumored Apple television set makes its debut.

According to latest rumors coming over the web surface, Canon is expected to announce two new products in June 2012, So we may see a new Rebel 650D / T4i and canon Mirrorless with some new lenses, Canon will also announce two version of its mirrorless camera (yes, like Nikon V1 and J1) entry level model will be available any time soon, High end mirrorless will arrive in Photokina(Sep) or Feb, 2013.
But the Canon 650D Book for Dummies delayed: Canon 650D Book for Dummies (view book at Amazon UK) announcement scheduled for May 16 is now shifted to August 23!
canonwatch few days ago said that canon mirrorless is coming in June 2012 with 4/3 format sensor, the upcoming canon mirrorless look is bit similar to Nikon V1.

According to latest rumors coming from photogizmos, Pentax will announce K-5 successor at Photokina in Germany later this year. Pentax is also working on a weatherproof 645D replacment, compact mirroless camera (similar to Pentax Q) and 360 degree Digital camera.
Pentax sources close to Photogizmos said, Pentax is seeking to re-brand themselves as the “Adventure Camera Company” and they will soon discontinue the development and production of normal point-and-shoot cameras in favor of High quality Rugged compact camera.
