Nikon D5 Early specification surfaced over the web, take a look at the leaked specification of and its analysis…
1. 20MP FX format Sensor 2. 15 FPS of continuous shooting speed – Nikon D4s resolution is limited upto 16 Megapixels and with the help of EXPEED 4 image processor the camera can shoot upto 11 FPS, but if the upcoming flagship is capable to shoot 15 FPS @ 20 megapixel, Nikon will sure add advance Expeed 5 image processor to Nikon D5 or they will use Dual Expeed 4 image processor. 3. Same Image processor:It it’s true than Nikon will sure use Dual Expeed 4 image processor. 4. 173 AF points: Nikon may be working on new Phase AF module. I don’t see any possibility of using Hybrid AF CMOS sensor inside D5 body, the camera will carry a traditional CMOS Sensor and external Phase AF module as it’s predecessor. 5. Nikon D5 body will have similar design as Nikon D4.
The camera is rumored to arrive at CES 2016. Take this rumor with a grain of salt.
