Finally we have more details about the Nikon A1000 compact camera. Now the outer design / sketches of the camera revealed and the overall design of the camera looks similar to the Nikon A900 camera that is its predecessor.

Canon SX740 HS Competitor
It’s very clear that Nikon is preparing to announce the competitor for the Canon recently announced Canon SX740 HS (Amazon.com | B&H) compact camera. The compact camera features 4K video recording @ 30 frames per second upto 30 minutes also 40x optical zoom in ultra compact body.
At the same time we have the Nikon A900 camera which already record 4K video at 30 frames per second and features 35x optical zoom in ultra-compact body, so it’s really interesting to see what coming next. There is a slight possibility that Nikon will going to enhance the optical zoom lens 5x more to match the Canon SX740HS camera.

Once the camera is registered at wireless certification agencies, it really takes 3 to 4 months to become official product. So we do expect that Nikon will soon going to announce the Nikon a900 successor in next few months.

It would be better to focus on a bigger senser for compact Nikon camera with a zoom of 20x like in Panasonic zs200 instead of a large no. of productions of such small 1/2.3 sensers.
Si nikon veut intéressés des futurs photographes, qui utilisent leurs smartphones pour faire des photos , ce n’est pas un petit capteur, qu’ils font faire.
Un capteur comme l’excellent canon g1x mark II, aurait été plus judicieux, et un zoom 24 2/8 et 150 f/4 , des programmes simples ,au lieu de mettrent des fonctions gadgets, que peu de personnes se servent, a part faire augmenter le tarif de l’appareil photo.
Et un viseur comme le canon g1x mark I, voilà comment faire un super appareil.
