According to the latest rumors coming out from the Rumor mill, the Sony A7 IV camera teaser video is coming out tomorrow and the official announcement of the camera will be done on Oct 21, 2021, if everything goes on schedule. The sources of the rumor mill also added that the shipping of the camera will start from December 2021.
Although, despite the so close announcement date the highly trusted Japanese sources are completely silent on this. So, the only thing we can do is to wait.
We already posted a lot of details about the upcoming Sony A7 IV camera.

- Newly developed 33MP sensor
- 15 stops of DR
- 3.69m dot EVF and LCD is improved too (1.44m dot???)
- 4k30 video is oversampled from 7K
- 4k 60p will be oversampled from 4.8k s35 mode and 10bit 4:2:2
- 4k streaming (and FHD 60p streaming)
- 5.5 stops of IBIS (+ AS)
- Same A7sIII body design and same heatsink system.

So, finally, we got confirmation about the upcoming lens, according to highly trusted Japanese sources the lens will arrive on October 19, 2021.
It seems that the reservation start date for Sigma “18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary” at overseas retailers is currently set to October 19th. Announced around 21:00 on October 19th?

According to the latest rumors coming out from rumor mills, the Sony A7 IV announcement date is October 21, 2021, from 15:00 to 16:00 London time. Although keep in mind the trusted sources are silent on this. So, take it with a big grain of salt.

According to the Latest rumors surfaced over the rumor mills the Dynamic Range of the Sony A7 IV Camera is 15 Stops. As, we all know that the Dynamic Range of the Sony A7 3 camera was 14 Stops At its lowest ISO settings of ISO 40 and ISO 80 (which are effectively the same, as both measured ISO 61). So, we can expect at least a Stop difference in the new sensor.

Tamron today published variable aperture details of the Tamron 35-150mm F2-F2.8 Lens,
Tamron 35-150mm Variable Aperture Details
- Up to 40mm The lens will feature F2 Aperture
- From 40mm to 60mm the lens will show F2.2 Aperture
- 60mm to 150mm you will get an F2.8 aperture.
As you can see from the Tamron F-number tables the lens is giving us a daily wide range of brightness coverage. So, if you are a travel shooter or someone who generally doesn’t go beyond the 35mm range you should get this lens.
