Earlier it was expected that the Panasonic LX200 coming with 20 Megapixel sensor (Sony IMX 269) and dual image stabilization as seen in Panasonic GX8 and GX80 mirrorless cameras. But now according to latest rumors the Panasonic LX100 successor will have the same 16 Megapixel sensor as we have seen on Panasonic GX80 camera, take a look at the rumored specification below
- It will have the same sensor of the GX80 GX85.
- But it will not have the same processor as the future GH5.
- Rear screen will be like the GX80: Articulated and tactile.
The recent leaks doesn’t show any sign of 5-axis or Dual IS coming, Panasonic LX100 was announced back on Sept 14 2014, during Photokina event. After two year Panasonic will again select the same platform to announce LX100 successor.
Take this information with grain of salt and we will update you as soon as we get any reliable information.

According to trusted sources of 43rumors the upcoming Panasonic camera will have same 16MP sensor as of Panasonic GX80 camera, I can’t believe in this rumor since February, 2016 Japanese publication Nikkan, reported that next GH series camera is arriving with 6K video recording @ 30frames per second.
If Panasonic GH5 is coming with a 16MP sensor then there is no option left to record video above than 4K, since to record a 6K video we need at-least a 24MP sensor.
Will update you soon as we get any new info

According to a latest patent surfaced over the web Panasonic is working on 12-100mm lens. As we all know Panasonic already have 12-35mm lens but that 12 to 35 mm lens features constant aperture throughout the zoom range on the other hand the latest document suggest that lens will arrive with a variable aperture from 4.0 to 5.8.
I was expecting a better and fixed aperture based pro kit zoom lens from Panasonic, but I am disappointed after reading the patent document, the the 12-100mm range is excellent but the starting aperture of the lens is 4.0 which is not acceptable at all.
Panasonic says – the present disclosure provides a compact and lightweight zoom lens system having a short overall length of lens system as well as excellent optical performance.
