Olympus E-M5 II spotted at Taiwan’s Nccmember.ncc.gov.tw site, the camera is expected to feature 16 Megapixel M4/3 sensor, the camera will also feature 5-axis image stabilization system and will also create 50 Megapixels files (already discussed here), but unfortunately the upcoming camera will not feature 4K recording video, the announcement is expected on the first week of February 2015.

It’s look like Olympus is already created the clone of Sony QX series camera, the camera prototype shown in the image is developed by Olympus Hack and Make Project, take a look at the detailed specification below…
The smartlens features 16 megapixel sensor M4/3 sensor inside, however we don’t know that the Smart lens mount features a PDAF sensor or a contrast based sensor, RAW and JPEG formats available and WiFi connectivity allows users to share images and videos seamlessly.
 We don’t know the expected announcement date of the product but we may see some signs on CES 2015.

 According to latest rumors surfaced over the web, the upcoming Olympus E-M5 II camera will feature same sensor as of the Olympus E-M5 camera, but it is also confirmed now that the upcoming camera will capture 40 MP images buy using some type of sensor shift capture mechanism (see more details here).

Latest rumors surfaced over the web suggest that Olympus upcoming E-M series camera will feature sensor shift shooting technology, the camera features sensor shift capture mechanism same as of Hasselblad H5D-200c. The 16 MP sensor will possibly use the 5-axis IS system tech help to move the sensor in different detections to create a single composite shot of 40MP resolution by combining 8 different frames.
The name of the upcoming camera is possibly E-M5 M II or Mark II , the camera is possibly coming in CES 2014. we will update you soon as we get any new information.
