According to the latest rumor coming from the rumor mill, Nikon is working on a brand new lens adaptor. Now we have two options here
- Releasing a Mark II series adapter with a more optimized AF motor / ALgo to make Nikon Z9 ( and Upcoming Z8) work more perfectly with Super Telephoto DSLR lenses.
- Improving the backward compatibility with AF Lenses
Better to release a new FTZ adapter optimized for super tele DSLR lenses. So, We will post more updates soon as it become available to us.

Nikon Zfc camera doesn’t have a low-pass filter. During the high ISO test, dpreview team members found that the Nikon ZFc camera doesn’t have a low-pass filter inside it. The test result of the camera looks similar to Nikon Z50 and Sony A6400 which also doesn’t have a low-pass filter inside them.
One of the most surprising things you may notice in the test is the amount of details captured by Nikon Zfc at ISO 6400 when compared to 26MP BSI CMOS sensor of the Fuji X-T30.
The key point here is the size of the JPEG file, as you can see Nikon manages to preserve more data than Fuji when we compare the size of RAW files vs the JPEG one. At the same time, we have OMD -EM5 III and Sony A6400 with heavier RAW files than the Nikon Zfc but they are able to grab fewer details as well as the color noise is more. So, it’s very clear that Nikon uses an optimum method for JPEG conversion from RAW files and preserves more details.

As the announcement date is coming closer we are getting more and more details related to the upcoming Nikon Z9 Camera. In recent leaks, Trusted Japanese sources confirmed that the upcoming Nikon Z9 camera uses a New EN-EL18d battery and MH-33 Charger.
Nikon’s “N2014” has also been registered in Taiwan NCC. The battery is EN-EL18d (10.8V, 3300mAh), and the charger is MH-33 (Input: 5V / 9V-3A, Output: 12.6V-1.6A). Confirmed with Z 9

After the announcement of the Sony ZV-E10 camera, I am getting lots of questions about the image quality of the ZV-E10. People are confused and some youtube gurus are recommending that Sony A6400 camera image quality is 1 or 2 stop better than ZV-E10. So, thankfully, dpreview team updated their High ISO test database and finally added the name of the Sony ZV-E10 camera to the list.
Let’s take a look at the test samples of the Sony ZV-E10 camera image file
Sony ZV-E10 @ ISO 25600
We have selected all the four popular Sony APS-C Mirrorless cameras in the test. As you can see, The Sony A6000 camera showing up a significant amount of noise in the image sample file compared to the other three cameras in the list we have.
Sony ZV-E10 @ ISO 51200
We have selected the 51200 ISO range for the other three-camera, as you know that the ISO range of the Sony A6000 camera is limited to 25600. All the other three cameras showing almost identical performance compared to each other. The amount of color noise and details we are having looks similar in all the three samples we have from Sony A6100 / Sony ZV-E10, Sony A6400, and Sony A6600.
Sony A6400 and A6600 @ 102400
We have upscaled the ISO values again, as you all know that the Sony ZV-E10 camera remains limited to 51200, but with Sony A6400 and Sony A6600 camera, we are able to boost up the ISO range up to 102400. But, as you will notice the Image quality of both the camera becomes highly unusable at 102400, and practically it make no sense for the camera maker to unlock the ISO 102400 when we have such a huge amount of color noise as well as loss of details. It also clearly indicated to us that the sensor of all four cameras Sony A6100, Sony ZV-E10, Sony A6400, and Sony A6600 are almost the same as each other.

Nikon Z9 more detailed leaked specification is out now, from the recent leak we came to know that Nikon is now using a multi-leaf blade protective shutter cover to protect the sensor just like Canon full-frame Mirrorless models.. After a year of loss finally, Nikon is finally back on track. Nikon’s recent reports show they are now jumped into the profit pool and enjoying their ride. Financial Results for the 1st quarter of the year ending March 31, 2022. From the data below you can clrealy see that Profit was somewhere around -31% which was really bad for Nikon, in the recent report we have +15% profit growth.
Still, they need to work on future sterady profit genration. This time they have managed to increase the profit by redcing the overall expensses, if you look at the overall revenu graph it’s still not so good.
