Astrhori Rockstar is now prepared to announce the 85mm f/1.8 AF lens for Nikon Z mount. This is not the first time we are getting this news. Back in November 2022, we received initial information that the AstrHori 85mm f/1.8 lens for Nikon Z mount and E-mount is coming.
So finally, we have the development announcement of the new AstrHori 85mm f/1.8 lens today. Take a look at the initial set of specs of the upcoming lens.
Astrhori RockStar 85mm F1.8 AF Lens for Z Mount
The AF 85mm F1.8 Sony E-mount full-frame automatic lens was announced in December 2022.
It adopts an optical structure of 9 elements in 8 groups,
with a minimum focusing distance of 0.79m,
an STM stepping motor,
and supports Sony mirrorless camera eye recognition.
It is made of all metal and weighs about 620g.
The initial price is only 999

Viltrox announced 3 new lenses for the DL mount and the DJI mount. These three new lenses are 24/35/50 mm while having MAX aperture of f1.8.We will soon update this post with their price a specification and arrival time
About DL Mount: The DL mount is independently developed by DJI and was first used on the Zenmuse X7 gimbal released in October 2017. Later, it was used on the DJI Ronin 4D movie camera, DJI Inspire 3 full-frame gimbal camera Zenmuse X9, and it is used on 8K Air.
So, this is just the beginning, and in the near future, we will see more lenses from Viltrox as well as other third-party lens makers too.

According to the latest information, the Panasonic G9 II may arrive in September 2023. Previous rumors suggested that the camera was expected to arrive before November 2023. So, we are getting a time frame between September and November for the announcement.

On August 18, Viltrox officially announced that it will launch a new DJI DL mount lens, which will be exhibited for the first time at the 30th Beijing International Radio, Film, and Television Exhibition (BIRTV) held from August 23 to 26. So, finally, we have a picture of the Nikon Zf camera, the camera doesn’t carry a good handgrip despite having extensive manual controls and even a large DSLR-style EVF. The overall design looks very compact and travel-friendly.
