Well Sony announced three layer Stacked CMOS sensor for smartphones. The sensor is capable to record superslow motion movies upto 960fps.

The Changes Made: Till now Sony was developing 2 layer sensor for smartphones a while ago that consist of stacked CMOS image sensor with a layer of back-illuminated structure pixels and a chip affixed with mounted circuits for signal processing.
But Now a new DRAM layer added to the conventional 2 layer sensor making it 6X more faster than conventional sensors.
The Major Advantage you get is you can record Full HD video at 60fps and that’s truly amazing.
Camera using three layer stacked sensor: Sony RX10II, Sony RX100 IV and Sony RX100 V also features DRAM tech based sensor with HFR (High Frame Rate).
A news teaser Rokinon official surfaced over on official website of of Cine Xeen lenses. A new XEEN by Rokinon Professional Cine Lens System focal length is on its way. And expected to be announced tomorrow on Feb 6th, 2017.

After Canon 700D Rebel series canon opted new series of 24MP Hybrid sensors. Canon 7D successor carries 20.2 MP DualPixel CMOS AF Sensor. But, at the same time we can also say that..
The Canon 18MP sensor was a excellent performer and was used in many Canon models. The biggest disadvantage of the sensor was AF issue while recording a video from DSLR. Due to the use of traditional contrast detect sensor the DSLRs using the sensor was unable to do AF while recording video and the contrast based AF was also slow and sluggish.
Canon slowely replaced all the contrast based sensors from DSLRs lineup and replaced them with HYBRID and DPAF (Dual Pixel CMOS AF) sensor. These sensors do blazing fast AF while using Live view display or shooting a still scene. Currently the DPAF sensors are used inside the Canon Pro DSLR lineup (APS-C and FF) and Hybrid Sensors are being used inside the REBEL series.
Canon 1400D / T7 to feature 24MP Hybrid Sensor
Based on the information we have received it also indicates very clearly that Canon 1400D will have 24MP Hybrid AF Sensor. The canon 1300D was announced on March 10, 2016. The 1400D is expected to arrive either Q of 2017 or may be on early 2018. The core specification of the camera is not know yet, we will bring more updates soon.
Breaking News: Finally we got the confirmation from highly trusted Japanese sources that Canon 77D and Canon T7i camera is coming for sure this month, possibly on CP+ show 2017. Do remember that Canon EOS M6 is also scheduled to arrive on CP+ show 2017.

It’s look like Canon will release a trim-out version of Canon 80D and T7i / 800D as a successor of Canon T6i as T7i. So this year we don’t have two rebel models.
New Tamron SP 70-300mm F4-5.6 Di VC USD Press release is out and now it has become official.
