Few days ago we have posted Canon 650D vs Nikon D3200 specification comparison review, now Cameralabs tested both the camera and the result was pretty much same as expected, the canon 650D images show bit more detail compared to Nikon D3200see jpeg image comparison of both the camera below,
Shot settings: The Canon Rebel T4i / EOS 650D was fitted with the EF-S 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS STM kit lens and the Nikon D3200 was fitted with the Nikkor 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 VR kit lens.
The third image show CA at edges but its not a problem of Canon 650D, the new 18-135mm STM kit lens suffers from chromatic aberration at the edge of the frame even at f8.
Conclusion from cameralabs
…Overall, it’s clear that the T4i / 650D is a better camera than the D3200, but there’s a price to pay for those additional features and superior performance. Not everyone, particularly first time DSLR buyers need those features and the D3200 remains a compelling option as an affordable first DSLR. It’s also important to note the closer rival to the T4i / 650D will be Nikon’s long-awaited successor to the D5100, and I’ll update this page when that’s launched.

Will the use of LCD viewfinder will improve your Still Photography ?See the video below by Jimmy Hickey and share your thoughts with us – LCD viewfinder strengths and weaknesses for photography – Jimmy Hickey
I have been using a LCD viewfinder to take ambient portraits for over a year now, and it has changed my process of creating images a great deal.
Originally designed for videographers, the LCD viewfinder enlarges the rear LCD screen, enabling the photographer to take photographs using Live Mode. This video goes over the positives and negatives of using an LCD viewfinder while taking a behind the scenes look at a photoshoot.
Hope this helps some people out! Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns in regard to using an LCD viewfinder!
Finally first comparison between the Nikon D4 and the Canon EOS 1D X is now available, Matt head of xerodigital tested both Canon 1D X and Nikon D4 side by side, based on test result the overall performance of 1D X is really impressive.
Camera / shot setting: Images captured at RAW mode, processed in Lightroom 4, sharpening and noise reduction set to zero.
Main points of the review
ISO performance: Nikon D4 seemed to have cleaner highlights, while the Canon 1Dx appeared to have better contrast and possibly cleaner shadows. In the end, if we have to award a point here and pick a winner, it’s the Nikon D4 – by a hair
AF in Low-light: During the low-light Test condition Nikon D4 performed better, focuses bit quickly than Nikon D4.
AF Speed: The Canon 1Dx ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED the Nikon D4 in the AF speed test. Canon 1D X is three times faster than the Nikon D4.
Autofocus Consistency: Winner Canon 1D X
Shadow recovery: Winner Nikon D4
