Another Side by Mt. Baker
 Mt. Baker is located in Washington State near the border with British Columbia. It is a prominent landmark visible from many locations in the Vancouver and Victoria areas. This is a view of Mt. Baker, quite different from our usual perspective, this time from the Chain Lakes Trail in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This was taken yesterday as the clouds were moving in for the rain today. Mount Baker was well-known to indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest. Indigenous names for the mountain include Koma Kulshan or Kulshan (Lummi, qwú’mə, “white sentinel”. In 1792 While anchored in Dungeness Bay on the south shore of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Captain George Vancouver named the mountain Mt. Baker after third lieutenant Joseph Baker made an observation of the mountain.

 Nikon will soon announce a Compact DSLR camera with Nikon D4 Full Frame Sensor and Expeed 3 image processor, the upcoming camera will feature similar retro design as Nikon FM2 camera,

Nikon upcoming Fullframe camera will feature Pentamirror viewfinder, hence we are calling it a compact DSLR instead of Mirrorless, since it will feature DSLR like mechanism inside, Nikon Compact FF DSLR is expected to arrive in next two to three months, but it is possible that we may see prototype of this camera in upcoming PDN PhotoPlus show in New York.
