So only differences between the G5X II and G7X III is 5x vs 4x and latter not having EVF???
Sean
Just wait few more days, as we get our hands on Full Specs we will publish comparison soon.
C’est un sony ,avec le badge canon, vraiment déçu.
Le g5x avait un super look …
Very very disappointed to see a clone of a RX100 VI to replace what was a very interesting G5X. I will definitely not buy this iteration of the G5X. I will buy the real thing: Sony RX100 VI
@Guy Hebert
Sony RX100 VI doesn’t have a option to use external mic. input. If you are still shooter it’s ok to go with Sony, but if you are a content creator then you should go with Canon.
Thanks for your comments. I am a still shooter, but the fact of the matter is that G5X-2 is totally different from the first one. It’s a G7X with a pop up EVF. Exit the swivel back panel. Anyway, Canon has completely changed the look of this camera and i am disappointed. Others will approve and like it. I don’t. That’s life.
After looking more carefully at all specs, this new G5X mark II might be more interesting than i first thought. And the price is wright when compared to the RX100-VI…I will wait to see some tests & reviews before killing it. My frustration about the drastic change of the look is slowly but surely disappearing.
